Be aware that many of the items in this set are duplicates of each other. Also, there are only two nutdrivers. The screw guide is good, and it's smaller and easier to use than the one sold separately. Certainly, the quality seems excellent. But really think carefully about whether the two tips included with the screwdriver itself aren't sufficient, because this set just doesn't add that much.

I have had this set for several months now and have come to appreciate what others call "duplicates" as well as the perceived poor quality of the case. First off the duplicates in the case are the pieces you use the most, phillips bits. Because the tolerances of screws are not as tight as they should be I consistently round out either the head of the screw or the bit. The fact that this kit comes with several allows you to fit the bit tip to the screw. Second the longer bits are great for areas where a little extra length is required. I recently installed a hi-loft in my garage and the longer bits came in very handy and these bits don't normally come in a set this inexpensive. Lastly the case, the size of the case is perfect when I have a small job to do around the house and don't want to carry my 100 piece case around. The bits don't fall out of their holders like many bits in other cases. Yes they are a little snug and I have large hands so it can be difficult to get them... Read more

This is my third attempt at owning a compact drill/driver kit--I've owned the Bosch 10.8V and Milwaukee M12 combo kits previously and borrowed my tile setters Makita 10.8v kit, with the cool anvil type case, on lots of jobs. The Bosch and Makita have their place, but not in my lineup and the Milwaukee disappointed me so badly, I have realized they are not the manufactured they used to be, and I will most likely never buy a new Milwaukee tool again.
When I bought my first compact kit, I was hoping to find a drill that was light, easy on the shoulder (if you've ever tried to use an 18v XRP drill with a fully extended arm and your older than 24, you know what I'm saying) and small enough to navigate in tight places. I needed a drill for doing trim outs, removing appliances, installing fixtures and just general light duty work.

- compact, short, lightweight = a joy to use
- slim handle is great for smaller hands (e.g. women, kids)
- one-handed chuck uses all types of bits
- good high end speed for drilling
- well balanced
- stands upright; belt hook
- comes with an impact wrench

- relatively inexpensive for additional battery packs (30 USD)
- powerful enough for 98% of my drilling/driving needs

Cons:
- LED lighting isn't as good as the hex chuck version of this drill

I was trying to decide between HD's Ridgid R9004N Drill/Impact driver set and the new DeWalt 12V DCK211S2 Drill/Impact driver set for my own home DIY'er use. I like both brands for their reputation, but I was pretty much set on the Ridgid due to the lifetime warranty. That is until I decided to head on down to the local HD to try them before buying (my HD has a setup with all the drills out where you can run screws into a 4x10).

Both the DeWalt 12V Impact driver and Drill could run a 3" screw into the board with power to spare. The grips were very comfortable, and the tools were well balanced. And the impact driver was simply amazing. Why had I never owned one of these before?

The Ridgid was not as comfortable, though felt bulkier due to a fatter handle, somewhat top heavy, and was far weaker than the DeWalt. The drill only managed to run the screw about 2/3 of the way in and then stop, shutting itself off. I tried again. It turned maybe once then stopped... Read more

I bought this saw blade for my table saw because my saw is small and somewhat underpowered but as soon as I put the blade on my saw I saw an increase in power. To test the blade I cut 3/4" red oak and 3/4" red oak plywood and all I can say is WOW! The cuts were super smooth and there was no tearout in the plywood. I used it to rip, crosscut, and cut miters and every cut is amazingly smooth. I highly recomend this blade for any smaller or underpowered table saw.

I bought this blade after trying a more expensive Ridgid blade of similar construction which produced an unacceptably rough cut. Then, I tried a Porter Cable blade. I liked the cut on that blade, but it wasn't as smooth as the Freud blade in my worm drive saw. That Freud blade produces glass smooth cuts. The PC blade left subtle saw marks in the cut material. I bought the Freud Diablo, and installed it into my table saw. It produces square, smooth cuts that require no sanding. The cuts can be glued and clamped, or finished without additional surfacing after the cut. This blade is amazing, and is the best blade that has ever seen action in my portable table saw.

I bought this blade to use with my 10" contractor saw. I am a active woodworker and need good sharp,clean cutting blades. This blade is a good buy for the money but does seem to burn oak just a little and the blade is thin enough to deflect during a tough cut. I also have a 50 tooth Freud that is not thin kerf like this blade... Overall, the full kerf blade is the better of the two...but it is more expensive and may not work as well with some underpowered saws. For the money, I would buy this blade again. My experience with getting Freud blades sharpened has been dissapointing. I sure wish they would set up a Freud owned sharpening service for their customers in the USA.

I get a lot of nail jams with my dewalt rechargeable finish nailer. The gun is new and it is the first I have ever used...so it is possible that the problem is with me or the gun. I think I go through as many nails clearing a jammed gun as regular use. I bought 1.5, 2, and 2.5 inch lengths and all perform the same. It is very frustrating. When things are working properly this nailer makes life much easier, though.
